making the card for 2007

I know the 13th December is a bit late to start making cards for Christmas, but I had to start some time. Every year I say I will make them in the summer, but nothing changes.

I designed the card on a vector based design package. It is actually just made of four broken lines that are repeated through 30o from the centre of the circle.

I gave the file to Pete Griffiths, who used his plotter to cut the shape out of vinyl. After "weeding" the vinyl it was stuck onto a clean piece of copper. I sprayed the plate with several layers of car spray then peeled off the rest of the vinyl. Copper Plate with weeded vinyl
